Harper Brown has been awarded the 2026 Harry Cook Award for her initiative in collecting litter around Syston during her summer holiday.
The award honors the late Harry Cook, who, alongside his wife Pat, played a key role in Loughborough in Bloom and had his floral home featured on BBC Gardener’s World.
Pat Cook, who remains active in the community, serves as chair of the Loughborough in Bloom Board.
The awards ceremony took place on Saturday, 5 September 2026, at Burleigh Court in Loughborough.
