Plymouth Marjon Leases Building to Special Education Provider

Plymouth Marjon University has leased its Studio School building to Elementa Education Group Ltd for a five-year term.

The agreement will enable Elementa to deliver classes designed to enhance learning opportunities for students with diverse needs, using a topic-based approach tailored to individual requirements.

The move comes as the number of pupils with formal education, health and care plans (EHCPs) in the UK has more than doubled since 2015, reflecting growing demand for specialized educational support.

Prof Claire Taylor, vice-chancellor and CEO of Plymouth Marjon University, emphasized the institution’s commitment to inclusive education and wellbeing support through this partnership.
