Reform UK has received a record £36 million donation from British cryptocurrency billionaire Ben Delo, marking the largest single donation ever made to a UK political party. Delo announced he would donate £1 million per month until the latest possible 2029 general election date, though he provided the full £36 million upfront to avoid potential future donation restrictions.
Reform UK’s leader, Nigel Farage, publicly thanked Delo for the donation, describing it as ‘honoured and humbled.’
Delo previously received an unconditional pardon from US President Donald Trump for a Bank Secrecy Act violation.
