The first Charnwood Community Health and Wellbeing event was held on Tuesday, 8 September 2026, at Charnwood Borough Council offices in Loughborough. Organised by Charnwood Borough Council in collaboration with the Charnwood Health and Wellbeing Partnership, Charnwood GP Federation, More Leisure, and the NHS, the event provided attendees with a range of health services.
Services included health checks, vaccinations, dementia support, mental health advice, menopause guidance, and healthy living information, among other offerings. The event drew strong attendance, with Cllr Liz Blackshaw, the Council’s Lead Member for Communities and Neighbourhoods, commending its success as a collaborative effort.
