Charnwood Borough Council launched the second round of the 2026/27 Charnwood Community and Facilities Grants on 10th September 2026, inviting local community groups and voluntary organisations to apply.
Cllr Liz Blackshaw, the Lead Member for Communities and Neighbourhoods, urged eligible groups to submit applications, highlighting the council’s ongoing financial challenges.
The grants aim to support organisations in delivering essential services, activities, and community support to residents across Charnwood.
Each year, the council distributes tens of thousands of pounds in grants, with Community Grants offering up to £5,000 and Facilities Grants reaching as high as £20,000.
