Mykhailo Mudryk has suffered an ankle injury in training that will keep him out for at least six weeks, with the possibility of extending to eight, according to manager Roberto De Zerbi. The forward made his Tottenham debut in a 0-0 draw against Nottingham Forest on 7 September 2026, coming off the bench, but the injury has disrupted his availability. De Zerbi described the injury as ‘stupid’ and highlighted Mudryk’s importance to the team, suggesting a potential return for the match against Manchester United on 10 October 2026.
Meanwhile, James Maddison is set to return to the squad for the upcoming match against Everton on 12 September 2026, as confirmed by De Zerbi.
